Коли ми здаємо цю книгу в друк, надворі стоїть осінь 2023-го. Поля продірявлені вирвами від снарядів, пасовища та ліси заміновані, частина нашої території окупована, домівки зруйновані, унікальні історичні пам’ятки втрачені.
Але боротьба продовжується. Україна бореться. За себе. За свою свободу. За весь вільний світ, вражаючи його своєю сміливістю. Мужністю. Відданістю. Жагою до життя.

Its author - Vlad Vasylkevych - has collected the visual history of Ukraine for five years in a row. In this book you will meet our country through the lens of his camera. Meet to fall in love again.
In the East there are snow-white Bilokuzminiv chalk rocks, Oleksiiv fortress and Kytsiv desert, wavy lines of Siversky Dinets. In the North there are fabulous ravines, rapid rivers Uzh and Desna and creations of human talent - the stone palaces and the citadel in Baturin. Majestic Kyiv. Further, in the Center - the picturesque and legendary Bakota, mills and islands, flourishing estates. In the South there are salt lakes of the Kherson region, lighthouses of Bessarabia and protected spits of Kinburn. And then the West with age-old spruce trees with mountains cutting into the sky, with blue lakes, the tops of huts, the velvet of pastures and a colorful carpet of various herbs.
We put this book to print in the fall of 2023. Fields are riddled with craters from the shells, pastures and forests are mined, part of our territory is occupied, houses are destroyed, unique historical monuments are lost.
But the resistance continues. Ukraine is fighting. For herself. For your freedom. For the entire free world, impressing it with courage, devotion and thirst for life.
